Honeybrook Farm May 2009 : May's CVAM Ride out 29 bikes started, quite a few made it as far as breakfast. A few even made it as far as the finishing point. Eventually the Leader even got back to the Castle of Comfort.

SW BikeSafe Show 2009 : CVAM at the South West BikeSafe show 25th / 26th April 2009. The Police Forces in the South West Region working together with Somerset Road Safety Partnership and the West of England Road Safety Partnership run the Bikesafe show for the South West of England. Hosted at the Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford just off the A303 near Yeovil. Participants included South West Ambulance Service Trust, Devon and Somerset Fire Service, Local authorities, Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and other independent motorcycle training services together with local retailers who offered test rides on the latest machines. The aim of the show, to promote the message that further rider training, post test, can reduce the risk of involvement in serious or fatal incidents dramatically and also reduce insurance premiums. With 20 riders dying on the roads in this area in 2008 we are keen to reduce these numbers in 2009! To this end the event enabled motorcyclists to gather all the information about what is available in the area in which they live, attend presentations and have the opportunity for ride-outs with police officers to understand the benefits and feel the difference.

Lynmouth Oct 2008 - Ems 'informal' CVAM rideout : Not an official CVAM ride out but as it happen everyone on today's (12Oct2008) scenic run down to Lynmouth was a CVAM member. Great route (thanks Ems) and amazing weather (after the thick fog eventually cleared!) Wonderful day out. This is what being a CVAM Member is all about, riding with a group of like minded riders, a good progressive ride. Well done Em.

We have just returned from our annual trip to The Old Farmhouse @ Dyffryn Ardudwy. The weather was perfect (for Ducks) we still had a great time.
